Mid-Year Tax Planning

Congress has been making it difficult for taxpayers to effectively manage their burdens because it constantly delays the tough job of addressing expiring tax provisions. 2012 is no exception. However prudent taxpayers don't let Congressional procrastination keep term from acting. Instead, they pay ongoing attention to their tax situation and act or stand ready to act, depending on how and when the tax rules change.
